Alexander Grappa di Amarone (700 ml)

Alexander Vintage is a small collection of single-variety grappas - Amarone, Brunello di Montalcino and Nebbiolo da Barolo ? that come from the same grapes that are used to produce the famous wines bearing these names and whose marc is difficult to find.

Amarone is a robust and excellent Valpolicella wine that is aged in oak barrels for over 2 years. It is long-lived and characterized by its significant structure and the raisin scent. The grappa exactly reproduces the main characteristics of the wine. The distillation is carried out in steam alembics and is followed by a few months of refininement in stainless-steel tanks.

Grappa is perfect after meals. It can be drunk cold or even chilled. It is an ingredient for cocktails and long drinks. It can accompany the tasting of dark chocolate. It is traditionally used to correct the espresso coffee and, in the Veneto and Friuli, to dilute the last drops of coffee, remaining on the bottom of the cup (Resentin).
