Dolcetto is one of Piedmont’s most charming and approachable grape varieties, traditionally enjoyed as an everyday wine by locals. Despite its name (“Dolcetto” meaning “little sweet one”), the wine is typically dry, offering ripe fruit rather than sweetness.
