Bordeaux Rose

Michel Lynch is the négociant label created by the Lurton family, one of Bordeaux's most prolific vineyard-owning dynasties, drawing fruit from across the Entre-Deux-Mers and the broader Bordeaux appellation — a vast, flat to gently rolling landscape of clay-limestone and gravel soils threaded between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers. The maritime influence from the Atlantic moderates temperatures and extends the growing season, preserving natural acidity in the grapes.

This rosé is built primarily on Merlot, with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc playing supporting roles. Vinification follows the direct-press method — grapes are pressed immediately rather than left to macerate — yielding the wine's characteristic pale salmon colour and clean, fruit-forward profile. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel to lock in aromatic freshness, with no oak contact and early bottling to preserve vibrancy.
