Remy Martin Club (700 ml)
฿4,389
In 1724, Rémy Martin — a Charente vintner by trade — founded a cognac house that would make a single, uncompromising territorial commitment: every drop, from entry tier to prestige, would draw exclusively from Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne, the two highest-ranked of Cognac's six crus. Rémy Martin Club is the expression of that commitment at its most accessible. The chalky, calcareous subsoils of Fine Champagne are the technical engine here — permeable enough to drain excess moisture yet retentive enough to sustain vine hydration through dry summers, preserving the grape acidity and aromatic concentration that define the house style. Distillation is performed on the lees — residual yeast sediment retained in the still — a house-wide signature that most peers abandon at racking, and one that measurably deepens aromatic complexity in the final eau-de-vie. Double distillation runs through traditional alembic charentais copper pot stills, each cycle taking approximately 24 hours. Maturation proceeds in French Limousin oak — sourced from trees at least 100 years old, the wood seasoned outdoors for two to three years before coopering — whose large open grain drives vanilla and spice extraction alongside substantial oxygen exchange. What sets Club apart within the Rémy Martin range is its positioning as a Fine Champagne AOC expression at an entry price point — a designation most rival houses reserve exclusively for prestige cuvées. Non-vintage by AOC regulation; drinking window is open now.
