Pinot Grigio DOC (200 ml)
฿
Vigna Nuova's Pinot Grigio originates in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy, where glacial deposits and limestone-rich soils define the terroir of the foothills east of Lake Garda. The vineyard sits at moderate elevation where diurnal temperature swings preserve acidity and phenolic ripeness in the Pinot Grigio clone.
Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel, a technique that isolates the varietal's mineral and stone-fruit character without oak influence. The wine undergoes brief sur-lie aging—contact with dead yeast cells—which adds textural weight and subtle salinity to the palate. Bottling occurs early in the calendar year following harvest, preserving volatile aromatics.
At 200 ml, this format prioritizes freshness; the smaller bottle reduces oxidative exposure and suits single-glass service in restaurants and wine bars across Southeast Asia where temperature stability cannot be guaranteed. Drink within 18 months of vintage for optimal aromatic intensity and mineral definition.
