From the most northerly reaches of the appellation, in the lieux-dits of Poncet, this 90% Grenache noir, 5% Mourvèdre, 5% Clairette blend comes from parcels at an altitude of 250-400 meters from a very steep 62 acre vineyard with an average vine age of 45 years. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, then released at 2 years. When young, the “Terrasse du Diable” cuvée has the minerality, freshness and sometimes overbearing tannins of high-lying terroirs.
