Viu Manent El Incidente Carmenere is a Colchagua Valley red blend anchored by Cabernet Sauvignon (97%) with a supporting Malbec component (3%). The 2011 vintage presents a medium-full bodied profile with ripe dark plum, blackcurrant, and black cherry on the nose, complemented by cedar and black pepper spice. The palate shows structured medium tannin and balanced acidity, with secondary leather and earth notes evolving toward tertiary tobacco complexity. A food-friendly Chilean red suited to grilled meats, braised beef, and aged cheeses.
