The answer they built starts with water — Elmhurst spring, Staffordshire, chosen for its soft mineral profile — blended with bicarbonate of soda and Scottish West Coast sea salt, then carbonated to a fine, small-bubble specification that sustains lift without the aggressive fizz of mass-market alternatives.

The formula is deliberately spare: no artificial sweeteners, no sodium benzoate or synthetic preservatives of any kind. The salt addition is the technical signature — a trace mineral layer that rounds the palate and amplifies the aromatic compounds of whatever spirit it accompanies, functioning less as a flavour note and more as a textural and sensory amplifier.
