Fever-Tree Premium Natural Soda Water (200 ml) (Pack 24 Bottles)
฿1,729
When Charles Rolls and Tim Warrillow founded Fever-Tree in 2004, their founding provocation was archival: if the world's best spirits deserved a worthy mixer, why did none exist? The answer they built starts with water — Elmhurst spring, Staffordshire, chosen for its soft mineral profile — blended with bicarbonate of soda and Scottish West Coast sea salt, then carbonated to a fine, small-bubble specification that sustains lift without the aggressive fizz of mass-market alternatives.
The formula is deliberately spare: no artificial sweeteners, no sodium benzoate or synthetic preservatives of any kind. The salt addition is the technical signature — a trace mineral layer that rounds the palate and amplifies the aromatic compounds of whatever spirit it accompanies, functioning less as a flavour note and more as a textural and sensory amplifier.
What separates this from commodity soda water is the carbonation philosophy: fine-bubble, high-volume CO₂ that carries delicate botanical oils upward rather than overwhelming them — the same principle Fever-Tree applies across its tonic range, here stripped to its purest expression. For a category where most competitors treat water as a neutral afterthought, the sourcing of a named Staffordshire spring and the deliberate inclusion of sea salt represent a genuine formulation decision, not marketing.
