El Jimador
El Jimador Reposado (750 ml)
฿1,439
El Jimador takes its name from the skilled harvesters who hand-select and split blue Weber agave piñas — a nod to the field labor that defines tequila's raw material. Produced by Casa Herradura in the Los Altos (Highland) region of Jalisco, where red clay-rich soils and elevations above 2,000 metres slow agave maturation, concentrating natural sugars and producing a characteristically sweeter, more floral agave profile than Lowland expressions.
The juice is double-distilled in pot stills from 100% blue Weber agave — no added sugars, no mixto shortcuts — then rested in American white oak barrels for a minimum of two months. That relatively brief wood contact softens the raw agave bite and introduces vanilla and light caramel without burying the plant's green-herbaceous backbone.
What sets El Jimador apart within the entry-level reposado tier is its 100% agave commitment at a price point where most competitors blend in cane sugar — making it one of the few fully agave-certified bottles under ฿1,500 in the Thai market. Drink now; no cellaring required.
