Reposado (750 ml)
฿฿
1800 Tequila takes its name from the year barrel-aging of tequila was first recorded, a founding myth the brand anchors in its commitment to oak maturation across every expression. The agave used is 100% Blue Weber Tave, sourced from the red volcanic soils of the Los Altos (Highland) region of Jalisco — elevated terrain above 2,000 metres where cooler nights slow the piña's maturation, concentrating natural sugars and producing a characteristically sweeter, more floral raw material than Lowland counterparts.
After traditional double distillation in pot stills, the Reposado rests in a combination of American and French oak casks for a minimum period that qualifies it under NOM regulations as reposado (two months to one year). That dual-oak regime is the house signature: American oak contributes vanilla and coconut-adjacent sweetness while French oak adds a drier, spice-forward counterpoint, layering complexity without masking the agave character.
What distinguishes this expression within the 1800 lineup is its triangular bottle design — a deliberate nod to the Mayan pyramid — and its positioning as an accessible gateway to oak-influenced tequila without the price barrier of the brand's premium tiers. Drink now through the near term; the oak integration is intentionally approachable rather than structured for extended cellaring.
