Château Trotanoy is one of the most revered estates in Pomerol and is owned by the legendary Etablissements Jean-Pierre Moueix, the family responsible for some of Bordeaux's most sought-after wines. The name "Trotanoy" is derived from the old French phrase "trop ennuie" ("too troublesome"), referring to the estate’s exceptionally hard and challenging soils.

Located on the prestigious plateau of Pomerol, Château Trotanoy occupies one of the appellation's finest terroirs. Its unique combination of deep clay and gravel soils allows vines to withstand dry vintages while producing wines of extraordinary concentration, depth, and longevity.
