Classified as a Fifth Growth (Cinquième Cru Classé) in the 1855 Classification, d’Armailhac has evolved into one of the most consistent and approachable wines of the Médoc—offering the signature power of Pauillac with a slightly more accessible and modern style.

The 2023 vintage reflects Bordeaux’s continued shift toward precision and balance. Careful vineyard management and modern winemaking techniques allow for optimal ripeness while preserving freshness. The gravelly soils of Pauillac provide excellent drainage and heat retention, giving Cabernet Sauvignon its signature structure and depth.

Blending Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, the wine balances intensity with elegance—showcasing dark fruit, fine tannins, and classic Left Bank character.
