Adrianna Vineyard, situated at 1,100 meters elevation in Mendoza's eastern foothills, occupies a distinctive clay-limestone plateau with morning fog moderation and intense afternoon sun exposure. The vineyard's eastward aspect channels cool Atlantic air, extending ripening into late autumn.

Catena Zapata's Fortune Terrae expression undergoes 18 months in French oak (mix of new and neutral vessels), with malolactic fermentation in barrel. The selection emphasizes older vines (25+ years) planted on the vineyard's highest, most mineral-dense blocks. Fruit is hand-sorted and destemmed; fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel before transfer to oak.

This is Catena's prestige Malbec tier—a deliberate counterpoint to the house's entry-level Adrianna bottling.
