De Sangre translates to "of blood"—a reference to the deep crimson soils of Luján de Cuyo's eastern piedmont, where Luigi Bosca sources fruit for this Malbec-led blend. The vineyard sits at 900–1,000 meters elevation on the alluvial fan descending from the Andes, where morning shade and afternoon thermal radiation create the tension between ripeness and acidity that defines the region.

The blend composition centers on Malbec with Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel before 12 months in French oak (mix of new and neutral barrels). This aging regime preserves the wine's mid-palate fruit density while introducing subtle vanilla and cedar undertones without overwhelming the primary varietal character. The wine is bottled unfiltered, allowing natural sediment to develop over time.
