Cote-Rotie Lieu-dit “Montmain”

Ferraton Père & Fils' Côte-Rôtie Montmain is a single-varietal Syrah from one of the Northern Rhône's most prestigious appellations. The 2020 vintage expresses the terroir of the Montmain lieu-dit through ripe dark plum and black pepper on the nose, with supporting notes of licorice and violet. On the palate, medium-full body and medium-high tannin provide structure; smoke and mineral notes emerge mid-palate, evolving toward leather and subtle tobacco in the finish. This is a classically styled Côte-Rôtie: elegant, food-friendly, and built for cellaring.
