Carmenere Reserva

J.Bouchon Reserva line was designed to showcase the best terroirs Maule Valley through expressive wines of high quality. This line is made from carefully selected grapes from their own areas of the company in Santa Rosa, Las Mercedes and Mingre.

"Reserva" Carmenere - Chilean red wine from grapes Carmenere plantation estates of Santa Maria de las Mercedes Mingre and Maule Valley. Poor soils give the grapes Mingre elegance and loam Las Mercedes grant structure and body. The grapes are harvested by hand at the beginning of May and transported to the winery in 16 kg plastic boxes. Practiced double selection of berries. Fermentation and maceration are in stainless steel containers for 12 days at a temperature of 24-30ºC. After that, 50% of the wine is aged in old French oak barrels for 4 months. Wine storage capacity is more than 4 years.
