Poggio Al Tesoro's Sondraia is a classically structured Super Tuscan from the prestigious Bolgheri subregion, blending 65% Cabernet Sauvignon with 25% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. The 2018 vintage expresses ripe blackcurrant and black cherry fruit on the nose, layered with cedar and tobacco notes from careful oak aging. Medium-full body and balanced tannins create a wine of elegance and food-friendliness, with subtle earthy undertones that evolve on the palate.
