Component malts and grains are sourced from distilleries across Speyside, the Highlands, and the Lowlands, matured primarily in ex-bourbon American oak hogsheads and refill casks, which preserve the spirit's natural grain character and allow the oak to contribute vanilla and soft cereal depth without dominating. Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill-filtered, and with no added colouring — a triple commitment that sets Asyla apart from virtually every commercial blend at this price tier, delivering genuine mouthfeel and undiluted natural hue. The absence of chill-filtration retains the fatty acid esters that give the whisky its characteristic silky weight on the palate.
