Belvedere Vodka Magnum (1.75 L)
฿5,559
When Belvedere launched in the United States in 1996, no category called 'super-premium vodka' yet existed — the brand created it, predating Grey Goose and Ketel One's rise by insisting that grain origin and water source could define a spirit's character. That argument begins at the Polmos Żyrardów Distillery, a facility built in 1910 on the Masovian Plain, ~50 km southwest of Warsaw, where two dedicated artesian wells — one at 41.5 m depth, one at 50.5 m — draw water filtered through 17 quaternary glacial terraces and processed through an 11-step purification system including reverse osmosis (hardness = 0, pH 7.4). The grain is exclusively Dankowskie Gold rye, sourced under long-term contracts from 7–10 named Polish farms, fermented with a proprietary distiller's yeast for ~72 hours at 35°C to 6–8% ABV at farm-level distilleries before rectification at Żyrardów. The finished spirit is filtered through activated charcoal then cellulose particle filters, bottled at 40% ABV with zero additives — no sugar, no glycerin, no artificial flavors — as mandated by the Polska Wódka certified geographic appellation. The Magnum 1.75 L format delivers the same certified-rye core as the standard bottle, with the extended volume providing greater consistency across high-volume service. Dankowskie Gold's heritage cultivar character — almond, white pepper, velvety mid-palate weight — is the direct product of rye genetics, not blending or additive manipulation.
