The Gooseberry & Elderflower expression takes that precision into fruit-forward territory, using real Scottish gooseberries and elderflower redistilled through the brand's copper pot stills alongside the core botanical bill — a deliberate choice to integrate fruit character at the distillation stage rather than through post-still flavouring.
The base is a grain-neutral spirit, kept light in body to let the botanical layer carry the profile. Juniper remains present but is consciously subordinated — the distillery's stated intent with this line is to make gin accessible to drinkers who find traditional London Dry profiles austere. The result sits firmly in the contemporary gin category: floral, tart, and pale in colour without artificial colouring.
