Whitley Neill Aloe & Cucumber Gin (700 ml)
฿999
Whitley Neill was founded by Johnny Neill, a fourth-generation distiller whose great-great-grandfather built Greenall's Distillery in 1762 — a lineage that informs the brand's insistence on sourcing botanicals from the regions that inspired each expression. The Aloe & Cucumber variant draws its aloe vera from West Africa, a deliberate sourcing choice that introduces a fleshy, slightly waxy botanical character distinct from the juniper-forward London Dry template.
Distilled at the Halewood Distillery in Liverpool (production home for the Whitley Neill range), the gin is built on a base of 100% grain neutral spirit and macerated with aloe vera and fresh cucumber alongside the core botanical bill. The result sits at 43% ABV, bottled without chill-filtration to preserve botanical oils. The aloe contributes a subtle vegetal succulence while cucumber delivers a cool, green aromatic lift — a profile that sits outside both classic London Dry and contemporary floral gin categories.
What separates this expression is the dual-texture botanical pairing: aloe's gel-like mouthfeel compounds with cucumber's high-water-content freshness, producing a gin with an unusually soft mid-palate for its proof.
