Soave Classico DOC
฿
Speri's Soave Classico originates from the Classico zone's volcanic heartland near the village of Soave, where basalt and limestone soils at 200–300 meters elevation define the terroir. The Garganega grape—Soave's native varietal—is hand-harvested and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel, preserving aromatic volatility and acidity. The wine remains on fine lees for 3–4 months post-fermentation, building textural weight without oak intervention. This restraint is Speri's signature: no wood aging allows the volcanic minerality and citrus precision to dominate. The 2022 vintage shows the freshness characteristic of cooler growing seasons in the Veneto, with drinking potential through 2026.
