Bourgogne Chardonnay Beaucharme

TERROIR

This wine is made from vineyards spread all over Burgundy, from the Côte d’Or to Macon in the South. This blend combines the complexity of the Côte d’Or and the generous fruitiness from the Côte Chalonnaise and the Maconnais. The vines are conducted using the Guyot pruning, which permits a strict yield control. The soils are rich in limestone, where Chardonnay thrives.

WINEMAKING

Manual harvesting, grape sorting before the vinification. Traditional winemaking.

WINE TASTING

Yellow gold brilliant robe, with beautiful green reflections. A nose bursting with fresh fruits aromas, with notes honey and acacia. Well-balanced and round in the mouth, with the same fresh fruits flavors, and a lengthy finish.

FOOD PAIRING

Great as an aperitif, on starters like Patés, pies or traditional French foods like escargots, or cuisse de grenouille. Also goes well with all fish dishes.
