In the late 1990s, Christophe Ehrhart converted Domaine Josmeyer to organic and biodynamic viticulture in a quest for excellence; in 2004 the last vineyards received official organic certification. This rigorous, expensive approach to winegrowing brings a greater symbiosis among the sky, the earth, the vines, and man. The close relationship of these four elements produces noble grapes that give dense, balanced wines with unique personalities.
