Boscareto Barolo

Boscareto is one of the most respected vineyard sites in Monforte d’Alba, a subzone of Barolo known for producing wines of power, structure, and longevity. From this site, Principiano Giuseppe e Francesco crafts a cru (single-vineyard) Barolo that reflects both terroir and a traditional philosophy.

The estate follows a minimal-intervention approach—organic farming, native yeast fermentation, and aging in large neutral oak—allowing the vineyard’s character to take center stage.

Boscareto’s soils, rich in clay and limestone, contribute to the wine’s firm structure and depth. Compared to their classic Barolo, this cru bottling shows greater concentration, tighter tannins, and more aging potential, making it a wine for serious enthusiasts and collectors.
