In the glass, the wine sits a deep, dark ruby with purple highlights and a crimson rim. The nose is classic Margaux, overflowing with cassis, blueberry and raspberry fruits enhanced with subtle notes of vanilla, tobacco and violets. On the palate, the wine is generous and concentrated with firm, ripe tannins and a gentle acidity.

The rich intensity of fruit flavors cascade across the mid-palate and flow into a long, ripe finish which stays with you long after the wine is gone. The 2015 Aurore de Dauzac will please lovers of classic Bordeuax, but if you like the fruit intensity and richness of California Cabs, there is weight and persistence to impress.
