Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru

Deep ruby color. Very primary aroma of blackberry, cassis and violet. Then densely packed and surprisingly sweet and pliant, showing a subbtle saline character and full ripeness to the dark berry and mineral flavors. This wine displays sexy vinosity and more lift in the early going than the clos de Vougeot.  A rich, thick, very long Charmes-Chambertin with serious concentration.
