Poggio Al Tesoro – IL Seggio DOC is a Bordeaux-style red blend from Bolgheri, Tuscany's premier terroir for international varietals. The blend—40% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10% Petit Verdot—delivers a medium-full bodied wine with medium-high tannins and balanced acidity.

On the nose, dark plum and blackcurrant dominate, supported by cedar and cassis notes. The palate shows structured tannins, black cherry, and a subtle tobacco undertone that evolves toward graphite minerality. This is a food-friendly yet age-worthy expression, built for both near-term enjoyment and cellar potential.

Ideal with grilled red meat, braised beef, lamb, and aged hard cheeses. A classic Tuscan statement wine.
