Starmont's 2018 Carneros Merlot is a classically styled California red showcasing the region's signature ripe fruit character. The wine opens with aromas of dark plum and black cherry, supported by subtle oak spice and cocoa notes. On the palate, medium-full body and balanced medium tannins create a smooth, approachable texture that complements a wide range of dishes—from grilled meats and braised beef to roasted poultry and earthy mushroom preparations.
