A rich, unfiltered and unfined Barossa Shiraz sourced from very old vines (cited as 50-130 years old) in the Ebenezer district, showing dense dark fruit, chocolate and spice layered with 16 months in predominantly new French oak (with a small American oak component).
Amon-Ra is bottled unfiltered and unfined — a deliberate minimal-intervention choice by winemaker Ben Glaetzer to preserve the wine's deep color and concentration rather than polish it for early clarity, a technique that runs counter to more conventional Barossa winemaking.
