Terrasses du Larzac Les Clapas is a beautiful, medium-bodied, elegant effort that offers lots of spice, dried flowers, violets and licorice in its Provencal, savory profile. It has good mid-palate density and a great finish, and should evolve nicely for 4-5 years, probably longer. The blend is 50% Syrah, 30% Carignan and 20% Grenache, all of which spent 14 months in oak tanks.
