Campolusso Toscana Rosso Igt

"A cabernet sauvignon with fabulous purity and fineness but a dense center palate with amazing silky tannins. It reminds me of a top Diamond Creek from Napa with its mountain cab style and hot-stone and iodine undertones. It's full-bodied with mind blowing integrity and polish. A wonderful expression of cabernet in central Tuscany. Only 600 bottles made.

Vinification:
Campo Lusso is made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the namesake vineyard planted in the year 2001 under the Tower of Galatrona in a natural terrace of tiny dimension (Ha 0.50.00 – numbers of plants: 5000) with extremely favourable pedo-climatic conditions, placed in a spectacular location. At present the production is limited to only 1 tonneau (500 lt) Aging 18 months in new French wood."
