Castello Di Bolgheri Bolgheri Superiore DOC is a Tuscan Bordeaux-style red built on a foundation of Cabernet Sauvignon (85%) with Cabernet Franc (15%) for aromatic lift and finesse. The 2020 vintage expresses the region's signature dark fruit intensity—blackcurrant and dark plum—layered with cedar, black pepper, and herbaceous notes that speak to the Bolgheri terroir. Medium-full body and medium-high tannins provide structure without heaviness, while secondary oak influence adds subtle leather and tobacco complexity. This is a wine of balance and food-friendliness, equally at home with grilled steak, braised beef, or aged hard cheeses.
