Good full red-ruby color. Deep but reticent aromas of blackcurrant, tobacco leaf, cedar and loam. Then very minerally and stony in the mouth, with a fine-grained texture to the currant, cedar and soil flavors. The fresh finish shows a fine dusting of tannins and a lingering stoniness.
