A perfumed, velvety Pomerol built on Merlot with a meaningful share of Cabernet Franc, known for aromatic violet and iris notes over red and dark berry fruit, delivering finesse and silkiness rather than raw power.
La Conseillante's roughly 12-hectare vineyard sits immediately beside Pétrus and Vieux Château Certan on Pomerol's high plateau, yet — unlike the official 1855 Médoc classification — Pomerol as an appellation has never adopted a formal château classification, so La Conseillante's reputation rests entirely on critical consensus and market price rather than an official rank.
