Mastrojanni's Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Loreto DOCG is a single-vineyard expression of 100% Sangiovese (Brunello clone), representing the traditional power and refinement of Montalcino's finest terroir. The 2015 vintage displays a medium-full body with medium-high tannins and balanced acidity, opening with dominant dark plum and black cherry fruit supported by dried-fruit undertones. Secondary oak and cedar notes reflect careful aging in traditional vessels, while tertiary tobacco, leather, and earthy minerality emerge as the wine evolves in glass and cellar. A food-friendly yet serious red suited to grilled meats, braised beef, and aged cheeses.
