All component whiskeys originate from a single site: New Midleton Distillery, County Cork, fed by the Dungourney River and supplied by over 200 local barley farmers within 50 miles — a single-distillery blend that breaks the multi-source convention of virtually every other blended whiskey house on the planet. Triple distillation through copper pot and column stills strips harsh congeners before the spirit enters a combination of ex-bourbon American oak casks and ex-sherry European oak butts for a minimum of 18 years. The final stage returns the whiskey to the original Bow Street maturation warehouse in Dublin's Smithfield for finishing, before cask-strength bottling — ABV varying by batch, with no dilution to a standard commercial proof. Barley is kiln-dried over natural gas rather than peat, preserving a clean, unsmoked malt backbone that lets the long oak maturation speak without interference.
