The blend draws from Diageo's pan-Scotland network: Cardhu (Speyside) supplies honeyed fruit as the structural heart; Caol Ila (Islay) threads clean maritime peat smoke through the mid-palate; and Clynelish (Highland) contributes its characteristic waxy coastal depth — a combination architecturally impossible for any single-region producer to replicate. Maturation relies on ex-bourbon American oak and ex-Sherry European oak casks, with exact proportions an undisclosed trade secret, and the whisky is bottled at 40% ABV, chill-filtered.
