Stolichnaya Salted Karamel (700 ml)
฿1,199
Stolichnaya pioneered the flavoured vodka category in 1962 with Okhotnichya and Pertsovka, and launched the world's first citrus-flavoured vodka in 1986 — so the Salted Karamel expression arrives with genuine category-originator credentials rather than trend-chasing. The base spirit is built from winter and spring wheat with a minority rye component, all grown on Black Earth (Chernozem) farmland in Tambov, Russia — some of it on SPI Group's own Raduga farm — where deep, iron-rich soil and continental climate produce grain with a distinct toasty density. Distillation runs through a continuous five-column rectification system at Talvis Distillery, Tambov, with a deliberate narrow cut: only spirit evaporating between 67.2°C and 79.0°C is retained, preserving faint wheat-derived cereal character rather than chasing full neutrality. The rectified spirit travels by tanker train to Latvijas Balzams in Riga — a facility built in 1900 by Tsarist order — where it is blended with water drawn from 200-metre artesian wells, reverse-osmosis treated to strip iron and magnesium, then passed through four sequential filtration stages: quartz sand, Russian birch wood charcoal, woven cloth, and a final polish. The salted caramel flavouring is layered onto this cereal-forward, lightly peppery base, where the rye-derived spice cuts through the sweetness and the birch-charcoal filtration keeps the texture clean rather than cloying. Bottled at 40% ABV; NV, ready to serve now.
