The distillery draws on locally grown sugarcane, and the spirit is produced from a blend of column still and pot still distillates, giving both structural lightness and aromatic depth in a single expression. Maturation takes place in American oak casks, which in Khao Yai's heat and humidity drive rapid extraction of vanilla, caramel, and dried fruit compounds while simultaneously pushing higher angel's share losses — a deliberate trade-off the producers accept for accelerated complexity.
