Orange Aperitivo (750 ml)
฿฿
Hotel Starlino Orange Aperitivo originates from Turin, the historic capital of Piedmont's vermouth and aperitivo tradition. The house sources neutral grain spirit as its base and infuses a proprietary blend of dried orange peel, gentian root, and alpine herbs characteristic of the region's botanical palette. Maceration and distillation techniques remain closely guarded, though the final expression is bottled at standard aperitivo strength (approximately 21% ABV). The orange character dominates the foreground—neither candied nor marmalade-driven, but rather the bitter-bright profile of Seville peel—while a subtle herbal undertone (gentian, wormwood) prevents the composition from reading as simple citrus liqueur. This restraint in residual sugar distinguishes it from sweeter orange liqueurs, positioning it as a pre-dinner aperitivo rather than a dessert cordial. The 750 ml format reflects its intended use: neat over ice, in a spritz, or as a modifier in classic cocktails. Current vintage reflects standard production protocols.
