Reserve Rose
฿฿
Champagne Telmont, founded in 1912 in Damery on the left bank of the Marne, made a public commitment in 2021 to eliminate all non-essential inputs — a decision that reshaped sourcing toward certified sustainable viticulture across its Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne parcels. The Reserve Rosé is built on Pinot Noir as the dominant variety, drawing from chalk-and-clay subsoils that concentrate red-fruit tension while the cool northern mesoclimate preserves natural acidity. Still red wine from Pinot Noir is blended in to achieve color and structure — a saignée-free assemblage method that keeps the palate precise rather than broad. Telmont's house philosophy caps dosage at restrained levels to let the base wine's character speak without sweetness as a corrective tool. What separates this cuvée within the rosé Champagne category is its explicit environmental accountability: every bottle carries Telmont's En Route vers la Durabilité certification progress, making the sustainability journey traceable at the label level. Drink now through 2027 for the freshest expression of its strawberry-pit and chalk-mineral profile.
