Château Pavie's 2015 vintage is a classically structured Right Bank Bordeaux blend, anchored by 60% Merlot with supporting Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine opens with dominant dark plum and black cherry fruit, layered with secondary cedar and spice from careful oak aging. As it evolves, tertiary tobacco and leather notes emerge, adding complexity and age-worthiness. Medium-full body and medium-high tannins provide a refined frame that rewards decanting and pairs naturally with grilled red meat, braised beef, and game preparations.
