Classification

Based on the Royal Bavarian Site Classification of 1828, we have created a quality pyramid for our wines and vineyards based on the Burgundian principle. GC and PC Riesling are the Grand Crus and Premier Crus of the most valuable vineyard sites. One step below are the local Rieslings, the Gutsriesling forms the end of the quality pyramid. 

Biodynamic

Since 2005, we have been managing our vineyards biologically and dynamically.

Characteristics

Delicate scent of wild berries with light spice aromas supported by a discreet wood note. Slender, transparent finesse on the palate; Berry compote and red apples characterize the elegant, lively fruit body. Fine seasoning and precise acidity in the finish.
