Reserve Shiraz

The nose begins with hints of barnyard and creamy notes then opens up with dried herbs, savoury meats and rich developed fruit. The palate has a hint of menthol coming through which is quickly overtaken by fleshy fruit and dark chocolate flavour and texture. The once, almost aggressive tannins typical of the 2007 vintage have now integrated and developed beautifully bringing this wine amazing length, weight and mouth feel. The trademark 'Geoff Merrill' acidity finishes this wine on a clean ripe fruit note.
