Rocca delle Macie Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano DOCG

A small area in the municipality of Montepulciano in south-eastern Tuscany – characterized by the extraordinary richness of a unique artistic legacy and natural heritage – is the birthplace of wines of quite exceptional quality, 'noble' wines indeed.

Our Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is created using grapes cultivated on the Il Pantano estate in accordance with the traditional method of vinifying this ancient wine. Prugnolo Gentile (a special clone of Sangiovese cultivated in the area) is the main grape variety, which is blended with a small percentage of Canaiolo.
