VINEYARD : Nero d’Avola (50%), Syrah (50%)
VINIFICATION AND REFINEMENT : Grapes removing wine pressing from the stalks followed by 12 days permanence on the peels at 25°C. After the racking the lactic fermentation in steel tank and further refinement "en barrique" is carried out for six months. After the bottling a further refinement in the bottle for about one month comes after, at controlled temperature.
ORIGIN : Marsala, Trapani, Sciacca.
SOIL TYPOLOGY : The soils in the Marsala area are sandy with a good amount of slime and little clay. The Agrigento area is characterized by avarage mixture soil of good structure.
STORING : Wine to drink immediately or to preserve at the latest two or three years.
