Royal Salute 21 years Quinn Black Edition (700 ml)
฿13,995
Royal Salute was born on 2 June 1953, created by Chivas Brothers to mark the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II — a political act of luxury that set an absolute floor of 21 years' maturation on every component whisky in the blend, a standard the house has never relaxed across its entire portfolio. The Quinn Black Edition upholds that same founding discipline. The malt backbone is anchored at Strathisla Distillery, Keith, Moray — the oldest continuously operating distillery in the Scottish Highlands, established 1786 — where process water is drawn from the Fons Bulliens Well, a peat-free natural spring prized for its softness, and double distillation runs through short, squat pot stills (wash stills 12,500 L; spirit stills 8,500 L) that favour a heavier, fruit-laden new make. All selected casks — a combination of ex-bourbon American oak and ex-sherry casks — are held in the dedicated Royal Salute Vault within Strathisla, where Speyside's mild, humid valley microclimate drives slow, even extraction over the full 21-year minimum. The special feature here is categorical: Royal Salute is the only Scotch whisky portfolio in the world where the youngest component across every expression is at least 21 years old — a threshold most luxury single malts do not meet at their entry tier. Bottled at 40% ABV, the Quinn Black Edition delivers ripe pear, dried citrus, vanilla, and gently spiced oak on a characteristically long, creamy finish. Drink now through the next decade.
