J.J Corry The Gael Irish Whisky (700 ml)

JJ Corry is one of the most transparent (and tasty) whiskey brands in Ireland. The Gael is a blend of 40% 9 Year Old Single Grain, 30% 17 Year Old Single Malt, 26% 13 Year Old Single Malt and 4% 28 Year Old Single Malt. Named after a Bicycle J.J. Corry invented, The Gael took about two years to develop. Chapel Gate first sourced some high quality and very rare mature Irish Whiskey. They began blending to create a Classic Irish whiskey, one bursting with juicy fruit flavours.

Nose: Hints of fresh bergamot & beeswax. Some sweet notes of honey and lemon are also present.

Palate: Ripe white stone fruit & lime, with minerality & pink pepper corns with a mild oak influence.

Finish: Medium length, minerals again with dried grapefruit & apple notes
