Our Master Distiller Jimmy Russell first came up with the idea for American Honey nearly four decades ago. In the '70s Wild Turkey Honey Liqueur was only offered at the distillery and limited locations … until 2006. That’s when it was repackaged and re-launched as the American Honey you know and love. Today you’ll find it at nearly every store and bar across the country.

Wild Turkey American Honey is an exceptionally smooth 71 proof (35.5% alcohol) liqueur blended with pure honey and real Wild Turkey Bourbon Whiskey. It’s perfect straight out of the bottle, chilled in the freezer, or on the rocks. It’s the sweeter, smoother side of Wild Turkey, with notes of sweet honey, caramel, and orange.
